The Nokta Midi Hoard is the first completely waterproof children's detector on the market and is suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years. The Midi Hoard has a clear detection tone and a pinpoint function. It provides precise iron detection and weighs only 880 g. Compared to the Mini Hoard, the Midi Hoard is slightly larger and has a stronger search performance and additional setting options.

The Midi Hoard is a durable detector and is waterproof up to 1 m under water. So your little adventurer can safely search the beach and the boardwalk. The Mini Hoard has an armrest for more comfort when swinging the detector back and forth, a stand on which the Mini Hoard remains stable when it is put aside, a telescopic rod that can be adjusted to a length of 82 to 109 cm and an 18 cm / 7" search coil including coil guard. With its 15 kHz, the search coil offers an ideal search depth for children aged 8 to 12 years.

Simple operation
The Midi Hoard is very easy to operate using 3 buttons. The right button is used to switch the detector on and off and to switch the iron discrimination on and off. The middle button is the pinpoint function to determine exactly where the object is located. The clear display uses symbols to indicate what kind of object may be underground. For example, the left block indicates whether a nail, screw or horseshoe (iron objects) is present, the middle block indicates whether a coin, ring, peel-off tab or aluminum foil is present, and the right block indicates whether a coin, beer mat or peel-off tab is present. You can also read the depth of the object in 3 segments, and with the battery indicator you can see whether the 2 AA batteries are still full or half full and whether they need to be replaced. With the Midi Hoard, the volume can be set to 2 positions and the sensitivity/search depth to 3 positions.
