The Garrett ACE 400i is the top model in the ACE series. The metalldetektoren belongs to the best-selling series among the entry-levelMetalldetektoren. Garrett has given the most popular series an "i" update. The Garrett ACE 400i brand metalldetektoren is characterized by the determination of objects according to guide numbers on the display. Even better metal discrimination is possible thanks to the sharper audio tones and the proprietary "Iron Audio" sound. Precise object location is not an issue thanks to the built-in PinPointer. The metal detector has an operating frequency of 10 kHz and therefore even more depth and sensitivity to the smallest objects. The light weight of 1.32 kg and the easy-to-use system make the Metalldetektoren interesting for the whole family and also for children. The modern technology, robust construction and sporty yellow design ensure years of searching pleasure.



The five preset search programs make searching even easier, as you can simply set them and start probing. Additional features and a powerful DD search coil (compared to the Garrett ACE 300i) make it interesting for advanced detectorists. 8 sensitivity levels can be set and the notch response pattern can be set to avoid garbage finds.

The search depth depends on the ground conditions, search probe and object size. The ACE 400i can find large objects up to a maximum of 150 cm.
Waterproof search coil

The search coil is waterproof and you can search in shallow water at lakes or on the beach. The housing must not get wet. It should be protected from rain.



Recognize metals according to the guide number

The "Digital Target ID" helps to identify metals. Shape, size and the type of metal determine the conductance. Iron and steel have a low conductance. Bronze, silver, lead, medium-sized pieces of jewelry, ... have a medium conductance. Gold and large pieces of jewelry and large coins have a very high conductance. The conductance increases with higher mineralization.
Detecting metals via tones

The ACE 400i generates three different tones. Low conductivity objects have a low tone, medium conductivity metals can be heard via a medium-high tone and high conductivity metals can be heard via a ringing tone. Iron Audio allows certain metals to be heard (normally muted). For example, bottle caps and washers can be heard.
